The Canadian Ski Patrol is very proud to have been an integral part of the snow sport industry for more than 50 years, providing snow safety and first aid services.

Every winter, CSP members have fun and stay in shape by volunteering their services at various ski areas across the country. In Manitoba you’ll find CSP Patrollers at Springhill Winter Park, Holiday Mountain, Falcon Ridge Ski Area, Mystery Mountain Ski Area, Ski Valley, Asessippi Ski Area & Winter Park as well as various nordic trails and events. As CSP members, the volunteers are highly trained in first aid and patient care, along with specialized on-snow skills such as toboggan handling. The CSP also works hard to promote safety and awareness among the skiing and boarding public while encouraging an active lifestyle. We love to ski or board, and as Patrollers, we are the first on the slopes and the last to leave.

Each September, the Canadian Ski Patrol welcomes new members to its ranks, starting with a first aid course and followed by specialized training at the ski resorts. Along with gaining excellent new advanced first aid, on snow and inter-personal skills, Patrollers also become part of an active, fun-loving team that enjoys the outdoors. There are more than 5,000 Patrollers across Canada, in all ten provinces and the Yukon.

The CSP patrols in your area are always looking for interested new recruits that love to ski or board and enjoy helping others.
